Reading Skills Development
Children begin their literacy journey from young. Basic pre-literacy skills include knowing that you turn pages from left to right, knowing to hold a book the right way up, looking at pictures and talking about them, as well as understanding that books are linked with words and stories. These skills can be encouraged from young by providing baby books and reading the books to your child.
Games and activities are a great fun way to reinforce phonics, reading and spelling skills from grade 0 upwards.
